This is how ten companies are revolutionizing employees' wellbeing.

Many companies are so focused on making profits that they tend to give less attention to the well-being of their employees. However, in this new era where the world is evolving, employers are beginning to change their perspectives. As a result, companies have outlined various strategies and programs to enhance the well-being of employees. These programs vary from one company to another. Which initiatives will help the employee to be more proactive and innovative? Which strategies are in place to address the psychological and emotional needs of workers? These and many more are questions that run through the minds of employers. This article focuses on companies that are performing well in promoting the well-being of their employees and the tools used to achieve that goal. 

1. Buffer

The digital media company puts remote working at the center of its operations. This company has inculcated the habit of making workers feel part of the company. They have adopted online therapy to help workers share their fears and worries, making employees even more productive. They have tools like Slack, Unsick day, which have been designed for the well-being of workers.

2.Bupa

Bupa has as part of programs initiatives and apps that are into the health of workers. It ensures that workers are fit and have a lot of energy to contribute to its objectives. It has designed Bupa boost, Health Mind service to achieve its goals. In addition, it has made available clinical psychologists to help deal with the mental well-being of individuals. All these tools were made available due to the remoteness of the work. These will make remote workers feel part of the company though they are not physically working there. 

3. Hilton

The Thrive@Hilton initiative is an initiative of the company that ensures the mental well-being of workers. The project has the purpose of making workers more focused, determined, and optimistic. This mindset has a positive impact on the minds of workers as they feel at ease in working. The Thrive@Hilton initiative has a lot of well-being programs embedded in it. Hilton has an e-learning platform where workers can learn about mental and psychological well-being. There are courses like Yoga, mindfulness, and meditation, which deal with mental well-being in these programs. 

4. Draper

Draper has a wide range of programs that motivate workers to be mentally fit. They organize well-being competitions and challenges coupled with gifts and cash prizes. This has been instrumental in boosting workers' morale to work on their health and physical well-being to fit the competition. This challenge and competition have the goal of releasing stress and ensuring the mental well-being of employees. It keeps healthy competition and makes workers active. As the saying goes, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." 

5. Intuit

Intuit has a program that keeps its employees fit. It runs a wellness initiative that releases stress through series of activities. These are also incentives that motivate workers to engage in physical exercise and stress-free activities. This includes walking, listening to music, playing football, etc. It has also had mindfulness and meditation resources that are available to workers. Workers are at liberty to grasp that opportunity and use the resources for their own benefit. 

6. Microsoft

Here comes the Tech giant who needs no introductions. Microsoft has a keen interest in the well-being of its employees. It has at the disposal of workers, resources, and programs to build the mental capacity of workers. Aside from that, it organizes Zumba classes to enhance the mind and meditation goal. It has a health program dubbed "Know your numbers," which is a health screening program. This initiative into the healthcare of workers and to diagnose and treat disease. It also has counseling services that provide advice, motivate, and encourages workers. This counseling service is known as CARES. 

7. Bristol Myers Squibb

This company has been at the core of ensuring the well-being of remote workers. Due to the hidden nature of workers, they organize well-being awareness webinars which are done online. This allows workers to participate in the webinar in the comfort of their homes without stress. It also contains gym sessions online. All these initiatives have been helpful to workers as they can develop their mental and physical capacity.

8. Dropbox

The cloud storage giant engages in a lot of activities that enhance the health of workers. These programs include Flexi – working and Flexi – policies. There are also mental health resources and new internal Slack channels. These programs help the workers who work remotely to feel part of the company and boost their productivity.

9. PwC

The financial services company has the objective of organizing fitness and well-being programs that enhance individuals' physical, mental, economic, and spiritual well-being. It does this through weekly seminars provided by Laya healthcare. Through these seminars, psychologists and dieticians have sessions to interact with workers about their mental and health status. This serves to educate workers on their health well-being. It also organizes fitness classes online, such as Yoga.

10. Qusion

The tech giant has taken the concept of employee well-being to a different level and, as you will get to know, went beyond the idea of remote working. At Qusion, we have entire remote work culture.
